ALO Wants to Siesta Contigo
Zach Gill, keyboard master in Animal Liberation Orchestra (ALO) sports the Vintage Vantage Siesta Conmigo shirt in this video of their CD release performance for "Roses & Clover" on May 5, 2007 at Amoeba Records in San Francisco.
Vintage Vantage loves ALO and their music like crazy. So much that we made a t-shirt for each one of them (and they're only $10).
ALO just spent a month in Hawaii recording a new album in Jack Johnson's studio, so keep your ears up for that. And watch out for Hot Tub fever.
Video here.

Vintage Supermarket Photos
Check out this site full of vintage photos.
The supermarket ones are majorly trippy.
Does the grocery store you frequent have beach balls hanging from the ceiling? Why not?

You're the Easter Bunny to Mommy and me.
You're sugar, you're spice, and you're everything nice

Sweet Ass Packaging - Onion Ring Mix
The supermarket's graphical splendor bursts forth this week offering a beautiful box of Don's Chuck Wagon Onion Ring Mix.
The covered wagon sunset makes a man want to hitch his horse to a post and attack that basket of crispy battered onions.
We gave the preservative-free food dusting powder a try and found it very spicy and very salty but, on the whole, exceptionally decent.

Real Dealers!
Do you like Vintage Vantage t-shirts? Do your friends like Vintage Vantage t-shirts? Well then, let's make a deal.
All you gots to do is send us an email explaining the difference between a kangaroo and a wallaby and we'll create a coupon code of your choosing good for 16% off VV gear.
Your code could be something like "Justin" or "bubblebutt" - whatever you want.
You can then hand the code out to all your friends and enemies, and once 5 different people enter the code at checkout, we'll bump the discount up to 21%. If 15 different people use your code, we'll bump it up to 28% off, send you three free t-shirts, and send you a fatty stack of your own real dealer business cards to pass out. (Here's what they look like.) You see where this is going?
Every time 15 more people use your code, you get three more shirts! In this world of Facebook and Twitter, this won't take long at all.

Mucho Macho
While diggin' in the crates making new Linernotebooks, we came across the following advertisement for Village People gear, straight out of 1978.
Would you rather be at a discotheque in 1978 or at a warehouse rave in 1995? Why?

Hippies, Hipsters, & Light bulbs
Got a couple fun new light bulb jokes for ya:
How many hippies does it take to screw in a light bulb?
None. Hippies don't screw in light bulbs, they screw in sleeping bags.
How many hipsters does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Some number you've never heard of before.
Heard any good jokes recently? Best joke posted in the next couple of days gets a free shirt!

Awkward Company Photo
The hottest site to hit the Internet since Prodigy is definitely Awkward Family Photos.
We submitted one of our own Vintage Vantage company photos from 2004, let's hope it makes the cut.
In the meantime, feast your eyes on "The Choker - This is what happens when your male role model is both a priest and a gym teacher."
